Lifts in the Hospital are designed in a very different way, keeping in mind safety and comfort of the passengers commuting in them. 

Day in and day out, thousands of patients, doctors, nurses, staff and visitors move between the floors from Emergencies to the bedside.

These elevators are quieter and smoother to make sure patients are not inconvenienced due to shifting between their rooms , examination or operation destinations.
